Why do you choose to work at BHZ? It’s a challenging, fast paced environment that offers a lot of variety. For me it’s about the people and the firm’s reputation. We have ethics and a long, good standing history with our clients. That’s important to me.
Tell me something about yourself that no one would guess. I row. I mean really, who rows? I’m on the Minneapolis Rowers Team. Also, I raced go-carts when I was young.
Please share an achievement of success story—personal or professional. I’ve received the BHZ employee achievement award twice. I don’t think that’s supposed to happen, I think you’re only supposed to receive the award once!
What did you want to be when you grew up? A marine biologist
What is your greatest extravagance? Facials, shoes and purses. Isn’t that every girls’ extravagance?
Which words or phrases do you most overuse? Ridiculous.
What do you consider to be your greatest achievement? Professionally to date—passing the CPA exam. Personally, I won a jump rope contest in the 6th grade. I still can’t stand the song Final Countdown because when the contest got down to the last two contenders they played the song on loop for an hour and a half! I wanted to give up just so the song would end. I jumped rope for 5 hours to win that contest.
What is your favorite thing about BHZ? Being able to say that I work here. It’s a pride thing. People who know our firm know that we live up to our reputation.
