James L. Myott, CPA, J.D.
Jim’s professional focus is employee benefit consulting. He has over 25 years of experience in taxation and employee benefit plan design, implementation and administration. Jim specializes in the administration of employee stock ownership plans (ESOP) as well as consulting for ESOP owned companies.
Jim has a bachelor’s degree from St. John’s University, a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and a master’s degree from the University of Minnesota – Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs. He is a member of the ESOP Association, the Minnesota State Bar Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Jim lives in south Minneapolis with his family. In his free time he enjoys reading and watching his children play soccer.
