Martin L. Nergaard, CPA
Marty has been involved in income tax matters for 40 years—11 years with the IRS and 29 years providing income tax advice and tax compliance services. He’s served high-income individuals and numerous business clients in a variety of industries. Marty was a partner with Hansen Jergenson Nergaard & Co. LLP for 25 years. He joined Boulay through a merger with HJN in 2011.
Marty is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a past board member of Kinship of Greater Minneapolis. He is a graduate of Mankato State University and William Mitchell College of Law.
Marty and his wife Barb split their time between their home in Minnetonka and their farm in the Detroit Lakes area. Marty enjoys time with his grandsons, his motorcycles, working out at the gym, traveling with Barb and reading.
